Laila Nabulsi is a producer who worked on Saturday Night Live, where she met Hunter S. Thompson, who remained a close friend and collaborator for the rest of his life. After seeing a London stage adaptation of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, she negotiated a new arrangement for the film rights and went on to produce Terry Gilliam's 1998 adaptation.
She also worked on Prizzi's Honor and Enemies: A Love Story and appears in the documentaries Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride and Belushi.
