Robert Rothbard is a filmmaker whose early credits include assistant directing on Dressed to Kill and location work on Brian De Palma's Blow Out, Fighting Back and Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in America. He later worked as an assistant director on Glory and Super Mario Bros., wrote and directed Putz and its expanded version The Life and Times of Charlie Putz, as well as Pizza with Bullets and The Painting, and served as line producer and unit production manager on several films and series.
